- Large discounts, but are they real?
- Buying loose diamonds in December
- You only get the best deal with the right knowledge
You better buy new clothes or new shoes on sale, when discounts are incredible. This is when the new collections are looking around the corner and the stock supply has to leave the store. But do these seasonal sales also count for investors who are considering buying loose diamonds?
Large discounts, but are they real?
For who is interested in buying loose diamonds as an investment will be amazed how often discounts are given by many different jewellers. It is even so that a lot of them are practically never ending sales, favourable isn’t it? Many stores offer a permanent discount on particular types of diamonds. The price on which the sale is offered is just a higher price, by which the clients and investors pay the normal prices. Truthfully, it is not a real discount. But the biggest sale you can get is just buying diamonds tax-free.
Buying loose diamonds in December
The period from October till January is for diamond dealers the most important one of the year, with Christmas, New Year and Valentine. The demand for diamonds is the highest in this period, therefor prices will increase simultaneously with it. Discounts and (real) special offers won’t be found during this time. Jewellers are very well aware of the seasonal trends and will get the supply to fluctuate together with the demand.
